Custom Chrome Molybdenum 42CrMo4 alloy steel 42CrMo4 (1.7225) from specification of EN 10083-3, which is usually heat treated by QT (Queching + Tempering), is widely usedto produce high quality castings. it has high strength, high toughness, good hardenability, temper brittleness, high fatigue limit,good impact resistance after quenching and tempering, and good low temperature impact toughness. The equivalent grade of42CrMo4 are 4140 (ASTM, USA) and 42CrMo (GB/T 3077, China)
